Besides this, they also find application for osteotomies of distal radius along with other small bones. They are precisely designed to ensure a strong construct when used for the fixation of complex distal radius fractures. They are provided with combi-holes that offer both locking screw fixation in the threaded section and compression in the non-threaded one. This implant can also be used for the fixation of osteoporotic bone along with a locking screw to provide a fixed-angle construct and support the articular surface. This also reduces the need for a bone graft.
