The World Economic Forum (WEF) is getting ready to turn 50 years old next month. With headquarters in Cologny, Geneva Canton, Switzerland, the WEF is an international organization dedicated to making positive changes throughout the world. The WEF's mission statement declares the organization is "committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas".
