Frozen shoulder is characterised by stages, namely the freezing stage, frozen set, and thawing stage. The condition may arise due to age-related changes, underlying conditions like diabetes, or even due to injury or trauma. Immobilisation of joint for a long time due to any reason also results in frozen shoulder. Inability to perform the daily tasks due to restricted movements with intense pain tends to worsen the condition.
