Changes to 1099 and 1096 Printing/Efiling in Release 2023

Sage tax forms- 1099s and 1096s- are available in different styles and dimensions for different Sage software versions and editions. e-Filing 1099s and 1096s form Sage 50 Starting with release 2023.0, the older method of printing 1099 and 1096 forms from the Forms menu is no longer available. Use Form 1096 to transmit paper Forms 1097, 1098, 1099, 3921, 3922, 5498, and W-2G to the Internal Revenue Service.
