Evolution of CMMI
The CMMI was created to consolidate different business development models into one structure. It was conceived from the Software CMM model created somewhere in the range of 1987 & 1997. CMMI Version 1.1 was discharged in the year 2002, trailed by Version 1.2 in 2006 & Version 1.3 in 2010; V1.3 is right now being supplanted by V2.0, which will be discharged in stages beginning March 2018.
In its first emphasis as the Software CMM, the model was custom fitted to programming designing. The most recent variant of CMMI is progressively conceptual and summed up, enabling it to be applied to equipment, programming, and administration improvement in each industry.
