Different Types of Metal Salts and Their Uses
Metal salts are the combination of a metal cation and an anion. A cation is a positively charged ion formed from a metal by removing one or more electrons. An anion is a negatively charged ion formed by adding one or more electrons to a non-metal. The most common anions found in metal salts are oxygen and sulfur, but many others exist.
