Product key, in Office 365, is basically a code to activate the Office 365 Subscription Service that you’ve purchased. There are two ways to activate your Office subscription. Firstly, while installing you’ll be asked to enter the Product Key. Else, prior to installation, you can redeem the Product Key and link it with your Office Account.
